If you find a website that is making $10,000 per month, it's pretty easy for you to make a similar site that makes $2,000 per month

You can't copy these websites, because you will be violating copyright, and you will get into a lot of trouble ... but there may not be anything stopping you from copying the idea that is making the money.

I keep getting emails from people asking me to show them the address of some of my websites, so they can have a look, and see how I am earning my money.

I'm not going to tell you ... sorry ... because then I will end up with hundreds of people copying my sites. But I will tell you how to find hundreds of websites just like mine that are making $1,000 to $10,000 per month per site, and in some cases a lot more.

So how do you find these profitable sites?

We are talking about affiliate sites here. Not people that have their own product, but people who are selling other products through affiliate programs on the web. If you don't understand what affiliate programs are, read about them here.

There is a simple way to find these profitable sites. Think about it. If people can afford to pay a lot of money in advertising, then they must be making a lot of money with their site. So, what you need to do is to find an affiliate site that is paying lots of money in advertising. One way to do this is to go to Overture.

Please note that I don't want to get into trouble by mentioning any specific sites, so I'm just going to explain how to find the sites.

Go to Overture and do a search for web hosting. At the time of writing this article the top bid for web hosting is $5.60 per click. Now most of the people bidding on overture are actually web hosts. They are NOT affiliates. We don't want to look at them. We want to look at affiliates. These are going to be sites that compare various hosting providers. At the time of writing this article there is a bid for $3.12 for a web hosting comparison site, in 13th place in Overture. This site is probably making a lot of money if they can afford to bid $3.12 per visitor.

Let's look at some more examples:

Do a search for "long distance". Right now when I look at the results the top bid is for a company that compares long distance providers to find the lowest rate. This site is essentially an affiliate site ... they are a very big site, but they are making a lot of money comparing other services. They are bidding $2.04 for every visitor to the site. That's a lot of money to pay for one visitor.

One more example. This example is using one of the most profitable affiliate programs on the web, online casinos. Don't read this example if you morally object to casinos - I am only using it as an example, because it is a very good example of how much an affiliate site can make in profits. Do a search for casino on overture. The top bid at this time for casino is $7.31. This bid is for an affiliate site. This site compares the various casinos. They are paying $7.31 for every visitor to their site. Does this give you an idea of how much money they are making? If they can afford to pay $7.31 per visitor, we can assume that they are making at least this much in profits for each visitor. That's a huge profit per visitor.

Now, you don't want to pay $7.31 per visitor to your site - DON'T DO IT ... even if you do have a casino site. However, with this you can see how people are earning large profits from their web sites, and you can get an idea of which ideas are the most profitable. Then, use the ideas on this site, such as the page on Pay Per Clicks, to get visitors much more cheaply, or even for free. That's how you can build a highly profitable affiliate site.
